Project: Predictive modelling of car prices on the Tunisian market
- Extracting relevant information from online car sales sites (automobile.tn, autoplus.tn, automax.tn, autoprix.tn, affaire.tn, tayara.tn) using web scraping techniques.
- Cleaning and structuring the extracted data to ensure its quality and consistency, with a view to its effective use in the machine learning model.
- Use the pre-processed data to perform analyses, build models and make decisions based on the results of these analyses.
- Descriptive and exploratory analysis of data to identify trends and relationships between variables.
- Developing graphs and diagrams to represent the data (histograms, whisker boxes, etc).
- Implementation of the Xgboost Regressor algorithm. The model will take into account various characteristics of the car to accurately predict the price interval.
- Validation of the model to guarantee its reliability, followed by iterations and optimisations to improve its performance.
